LOXEAL 59-10 Flange Sealant, Medium Strength, High Temperature Resistant
LOXEAL 59-10 is a single-component, medium-strength anaerobic flange sealant with excellent heat resistance. The product cures at room temperature in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
The sealant is particularly suitable for sealing rigid metal flange joints, such as those found on pumps, gearboxes, camshaft blocks, and motor flanges. It can replace conventional pre-formed gaskets, accommodates greater machining tolerances, and ensures direct metal-to-metal contact. The connection can be dismantled using standard hand tools.
LOXEAL 59-10 offers high resistance to vibration, heat, water, gases, LPG, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals.

The LOXEAL technical data sheet also rates resistance to a 50% water/glycol mixture at 87 °C as “excellent” after 100, 500, and 1,000 hours.
Application: Clean and degrease the metal surfaces before application. Apply enough LOXEAL 59-10 to completely fill the gap, assemble the components, and allow the product to cure. For passivated surfaces and/or low temperatures, LOXEAL recommends using LOXEAL Activator 11.
