LOXEAL PTFE Silicone Grease No. 4 is a high quality specialty grease combining the excellent slip properties of silicone with the powerful lubricating performance of PTFE. It is particularly suitable for lubricating and protecting combinations of metal and plastic, metal and rubber, as well as plastic and plastic. It can also be used for certain metal to metal applications, provided they are not subjected to heavy loads.
The grease is highly water repellent and remains effective even on surfaces immersed in water. It also provides good electrical insulation properties. According to the manufacturer, it prevents the growth of fungi and mould even under conditions of high humidity and elevated temperatures.
With a wide operating temperature range from −40 °C to +200 °C, LOXEAL PTFE Silicone Grease No. 4 is suitable for a wide variety of demanding technical and food industry applications.

The grease is especially suitable for applications where components are regularly or permanently exposed to water. According to the manufacturer, recommended material combinations include metal and plastic, metal and rubber, and plastic and plastic. Metal to metal applications are also possible where no heavy loads are involved.
LOXEAL PTFE Silicone Grease No. 4 is NSF H1 registered for incidental food contact, making it suitable for lubrication applications in food processing and related environments where incidental contact with food may occur.
The technical data sheet specifies NSF Category H1, Registration No. 141233. The product is also approved by the manufacturer for use with potable water.
