LOXEAL 18 10 Thread Sealant with PTFE, up to 2 Inches
**LOXEAL 18 10** is an anaerobic thread sealant with PTFE designed for the reliable sealing of metal threaded connections. It is suitable for applications involving **gas, LPG, compressed air, water, oils, fuels, industrial fluids and various chemicals**.
Its thixotropic consistency prevents the sealant from running during application, while the low coefficient of friction facilitates easy assembly. Once cured, LOXEAL 18 10 forms an elastic sealing film that provides excellent resistance to **impact, vibration and temperature fluctuations**.

Application
Ideal for sealing metal pipe and threaded connections in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. LOXEAL 18 10 can be used as an alternative to **PTFE tape and hemp**. For optimum sealing performance, the threads should be cleaned and dried before application. The sealant is then applied evenly to the thread before assembling the connection.
Important Notice
The **DVGW and AGA approvals specified in the technical data sheet apply to gas and LPG applications**. The available technical data sheet does not specify an approval for drinking water, food contact or NSF/ANSI 61.
