Compatibility Notice for La Marzocco Portafilters
Due to the design of La Marzocco portafilters, the tamped coffee surface may become slightly uneven. This is not caused by the tamper itself, but by the geometry of the portafilter.
For a perfectly level tamping result, the portafilter would need to rest completely flat on the station fork while pressing the lever down. With La Marzocco portafilters, this is not fully possible, causing the portafilter to shift slightly under pressure.
As a result, the coffee bed may develop a slightly angled surface after tamping. Therefore, the station is only conditionally suitable and not ideal for La Marzocco portafilters.
