For machines without Eco function, the jumper on the electronic control box must be removed.

Internal jumpers for Gicar 9.1.42.77G:
P1: Jumper must be installed
P2: Water tank sensor sensitivity – jumper installed: low sensitivity, jumper removed: high sensitivity
P3: Boiler sensor sensitivity – jumper installed: low sensitivity, jumper removed: high sensitivity

This electronic control box can be used as a replacement for electronic control box A190004524 on machines up to serial number D1915.... Modifications are required.

A pressure switch rated for at least 16 A must be installed if not already fitted.
The cable running from the electronic control box to the heating element must be disconnected from the electronic control box and connected to the pressure switch.
An additional approx. 30 cm cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and two 6.3 mm cable terminals must be made to connect the pressure switch to the heating element.

After the modification, the switching load is routed through the pressure switch.
