SIGILL SILIGRASS is a high quality, colourless silicone grease based on pure methylpolysiloxanes and inorganic thickeners. It is ideal for the lubrication, protection and insulation of O-rings, seals, taps, fittings and a wide range of technical components.
Thanks to its excellent water repellent properties, SILIGRASS provides reliable protection against moisture, corrosion and oxidation. The silicone grease is insoluble even in hot water and helps prevent limescale deposits. Its excellent dielectric properties also make it suitable for protecting and insulating electrical and electronic components.
With a temperature resistance from -40 °C to +200 °C, SILIGRASS is suitable for a wide variety of demanding applications. It can be used with different materials, including metal, plastic, rubber and wood.

SILIGRASS is particularly suitable for the lubrication and protection of taps, fittings, O-rings, rubber seals and ground joints. It can also be used to protect sensitive equipment and laboratory instruments, as well as a dielectric and insulating protective grease for electrical and electronic installations. These applications are also specified in the manufacturer's technical data sheet.
Other typical applications include cable connectors, battery terminals, precision mechanisms, bearings, submersible pumps and components made from rubber or plastic.
According to the available product information, SILIGRASS is suitable for contact with food in accordance with D.M. 21/03/1973 and subsequent amendments. The original product packaging also explicitly states “may come in contact with food”.
