The 25A SSR Solid State Relay is used for external control of the heating element in combination with the 16 pin M2004 electronic control board. It reliably switches the heating load via a DC control voltage and is designed for use in compatible ECM espresso machines.

If the SSR relay is mounted on a metal plate or metal mounting bracket, we recommend applying a thin layer of thermal paste, part no. 8069076, between the metal back of the relay and the mounting surface. This improves heat transfer and helps reduce the operating temperature of the relay.
If the relay is installed without direct contact with a metal mounting surface, thermal paste is not required.
